We have researched specific wire mesh for use with the roach colonies of our customers. The holes of the mesh are small enough to stop any size of roach your colony produce, yet large enough to allow a excellent circulation of air through your roach hotel.

These roaches cannot climb smooth surfaces in any stage of their lifecycle, however if your egg cartons touch the mesh they will climb along it (hence the mesh bein small) though NOT through it.
