We ship all our live stock from Monday through to Thursday, 1st class royal mail and in winter, a heatpack option is available to ensure they arrive with you healthy (See delivery options).

Dubia Roaches however are susceptible to cold and in extreme conditions we may hold your order until the weather improves. If this happens you will be notified immediately.

Dubia Roaches or  Blaptica Dubia were originally shipped from Argentina, French Guyana and Brazil, all are tropical climates and as such these roaches are less hardy than its larger cousins. This ensures they will not survive for long or breed outside of their roach hotels within the UK.

Whilst Roaches are are more expensive that Crix or Hoppers, the benefits outweigh the cost. Roaches are silent, Roaches eat anything which is fantastic for gut-loading, They don’t smell, They don’t climb & they cant survive in our horrible weather.. what more could we ask from our live food... Ahhh do beardies like them, No they don’t they absolutely adore them its a roach massacre everyday, who said beardies don’t smile Roach Colony have always provided top quality fresh lively roaches.. On my last order I had a few dead, but on counting.. yes I count, I had 4 more live than I ordered. Fantastic Quality, Fantastic Service... Thanks Martin
